KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) is delighted to confirm that the FIA has selected the Hong Kong-based manufacturer’s Formula 4 car for the second consecutive edition of the FIA Motorsport Games in October.
After a two-year hiatus following the Covid-19 pandemic, the event returns in 2022, taking place in the south of France, with the F4 Cup to be run alongside several other disciplines at Circuit Paul Ricard.
As was the case for the 2019 edition in Italy, the ground-breaking KC MG-01, the first at the F4 level to be produced with a halo and hybrid system, will be the machinery up to 24 drivers will be competing in on 28-30 October.
Since 2020, JAS Motorsport has been KCMG’s technical partner in building and maintaining the cars, which is the precursor to the models currently used in all F4 championships. As in 2019, Hitech GP will run the operational side of the event. They will set up the single-seaters identically to ensure a fair playing field between all the competitors. The KC MG-01 machinery will have the same specification, configuration and set-up as they did three years ago.
Drivers will have the honour of competing for their nation, in the hunt for the gold, silver and bronze medals. The F4 Cup champion will be awarded a monetary prize by KCMG, along with the chance to join the team’s Driver Development Project.
To register, drivers must co-ordinate with their National Sporting Authority (ASN) to obtain an endorsement letter that permits them to represent their country in their chosen discipline. Entries can be lodged individually via the following link:
