KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) is aiming for strong points in the penultimate round of the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS campaign at Okayama International Circuit this weekend.
Competing in the #22 Honda NSX GT3 EVO, both KCMG Founder Paul Ip and Edoardo Liberati showed strong pace in July’s double-header, picking up an eighth-placed finish at Suzuka.
Now, the duo will be looking to turn that pace into more points at the 3.703-kilometre Okayama International Circuit, that first hosted Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia in 2022. The 11-turn track, which held Formula 1 in the 1990s while under the name TI Circuit Aida, features a high-speed first sector that winds into a more technical, twisty middle part of the lap, with elevation changes testing driver and car throughout.
