KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin is set to star in the final round of the French Rally Championship, the Rallye du Var, in the Modern Rally category.
The Rallye du Var, set in Sainte-Maxime on the idyllic Côte d’Azur, has traditionally served as the final event in the French National Rally Championship throughout its history. The series sits at the top of France’s domestic rally pyramid, and has seen some of France’s best racing talent, including World Rally Champions Sébastien Loeb and Didier Auriol, among its historic victors.
The Sarrazin family has a rich history in the competition, with Pablo’s father Stéphane having won the championship in 2004, and claiming victory at the Rallye du Var itself three years prior. Following his appearance at the Rallye du Bas Vivarais last week, Pablo will compete in the Modern Rally category of the event, alongside co-driver Geoffrey Combe. Driving a Peugeot 208 Rally4, the 18-year-old is also eligible to compete in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup.
