PABLO SARRAZIN SET FOR FIRST GRAVEL EVENT OF 2024 STELLANTIS MOTORSPORT RALLY CUP FRANCE

KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin resumes his 2024 Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France campaign this weekend, taking on the Rallye Terre d’Aléria, the first gravel event of the season.

Currently holding the championship lead after the first two rallies of the championship, Sarrazin and co-driver Geoffrey Combe will be looking to continue the strong form shown so far in 2024.

The duo will take confidence from their performance at the Rallye de Causses in April. On their first event competing on gravel, they dominated the two-wheel drive category, taking victory by over 30 seconds while gaining plenty of valuable experience.

The 265-kilometre rally, of which 127 are timed special stages, takes place on the mountainous Eastern coast of Corsica, beginning on Friday and finishing on Saturday.

PABLO SARRAZIN

I’m excited to be back on gravel for the third round of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France. We’ve worked a lot in the last few weeks and we’re looking for another strong result. The season is still long and it’s important to score points in each event, so we’ll give it our all to continue fighting at the top and remain in the championship lead.”

GEOFFREY COMBE CO-DRIVER

“This weekend is a really important one for the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France, as it’s the first on gravel. We’re going to give it our all to fight at the front and score as many points as possible, so I’m looking forward to getting out there on Friday!”

PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER

The Rallye Terre d’Aléria will be an interesting challenge for Pablo as the stages are bumpy and difficult. He and Geoffrey have continued gaining experience since the last Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France round, participating in two French Rally Championship events. It’s been a strong season so far, and now Pablo needs to keep pushing, while making sure he stays within the limits to pick up a positive result and remain in the championship lead.”
