PABLO SARRAZIN WINS RALLYE VOSGES GRAND-EST TO EXTEND HIS CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD

KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin completed an excellent weekend at Rallye Vosges-Grand-Est, winning the Rally4 category as well as the Michelin Trophy to extend his lead in the France Tarmac 2WD category.

Challenging conditions awaited Pablo and co-driver Geoffrey Combe at Rallye Vosges, with rain leaving a large amount of gravel and mud on the roads. However, the pair produced a brilliant performance, completing times close to the Rally2 cars, and ended up taking home the Michelin Trophy as well as the victory in the Rally4 category.

The weekend proved to be excellent preparation for the continuation of the 2024 Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France, which returns on 4-6 July at Rallye Aveyron Rouergue – Occitanie with just three rounds of the season left.

PABLO SARRAZIN

I’m delighted with our performance in difficult conditions, and I have to say a massive thanks to the team, who gave me a really good car to be fighting up at the top. We’re happy to also keep the lead of the 2-wheel drive championship. It’s been the ideal preparation for the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France, which returns at the beginning of July, and we go there hopeful of achieving positive results.”

GEOFFREY COMBE CO-DRIVER

“It was an amazing weekend winning our category, as well as the Michelin Trophy especially considering the tough conditions of the rally. It was ideal to get ready for next round of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France, which is going to be an important one for the championship.”

PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER

We’re pleased by Pablo’s performance and the superb success in the Michelin Trophy, which demonstrated his ability to handle all surfaces in 2WD. It’s another victory at an event which was very challenging, due to the weather conditions, but this will only help us in our preparation for the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France. Congratulations to Pablo and Geoffrey and we’re looking forward to seeing them back in the car.”
