PABLO SARRAZIN PREPARES TO TAKE ON FAMOUS RALLYE CRITÉRIUM DES CÉVENNES

KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin will be looking to continue his fight for the French Tarmac 2WD Championship, as he returns to the Rally4 class in the Rallye Critérium des Cévennes this weekend.

The French teenager, who turns 19 on Friday, has been experiencing Rally2 machinery, alongside co-driver Geoffrey Combe recently, but this event sees them step back into the Peugeot 208 Rally4, with the duo currently sitting fourth in the overall standings.

Held in the South of France, Rallye Critérium des Cévennes consists of 13 special stages over two days, delivering a mammoth 196.60km on the first day and 46km to finish off the event in style on Saturday.

PABLO SARRAZIN

“It’s good to be back in the Peugeot 208 after some great weekends getting experience in the Rally 2 format. This is going to be a brilliant way to prepare for the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France finale next month, as well as continuing to fight for the French Tarmac 2WD Championship.”

GEOFFREY COMBE CO-DRIVER

“Critérium des Cévennes is a very unusual and tricky rally, so it’ll be excellent to test ourselves in these conditions. We’re going to do everything possible to remain in the hunt for the 2WD title and aiming to have a great weekend.”

PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER

“After some events competing in the Rally2 category, it’s now time for the pair to head back to the Peugeot 208. It’s a brilliant rally where several local drivers have created history in these difficult conditions. The event also acts as perfect preparation for the finale of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France, but for now the focus is on fighting for the 2WD Championship.”
