Kids com Team KCMG will be aiming to finish the 2024 season positively as Super Formula heads to Suzuka International Racing Course for the final two rounds of the year.
The Hong Kong-based squad performed superbly last time out at the double-header in Fuji, with Nirei Fukuzumi taking a pole and podium, while Kamui Kobayashi also secured a trip to the rostrum, helping the outfit vault up to fourth in the Teams’ Championship.
Returning to Suzuka for the second two-race weekend of the campaign, Kids com Team KCMG hopes to replicate these excellent performances to end the season on a high. The squad previously visited Suzuka for the opening round, putting in a solid showing and scoring points with Fukuzumi.
Based in the Mie prefecture, Suzuka Circuit is Japan’s most famous motorsport venue, having hosted 34 Formula 1 Grands Prix. The unusual figure-of-eight track makes it unique on the Super Formula calendar, while the 5.807-kilometre layout tests drivers with a variety of tough corners, including the Esses, Spoon Curve and the famous 130R.

“I’m all set for the final event of the 2024 season. We come into this one following an excellent performance at Fuji, where we jumped up to fourth in the teams’ standings. We’ve been on an upward trend throughout the second half of the year, so we’ll work together to aim for victory and show what we’re capable of at Suzuka.”
