KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin produced an excellent display to pick up an overall podium finish in Rally2 machinery at Rallye Terre de Vaucluse over the weekend.
The 19-year-old, alongside co-driver Geoffrey Combe, stepped into a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 for the first time this campaign, and immediately showed outstanding pace to challenge for the top positions.
On the gravel surface, they continued their great showing throughout the weekend, constantly battling with the top French championship regular drivers in Rally2, and eventually finishing an impressive third overall.
The duo will return to the Peugeot 208 Rally4 for the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France finale on 22-24 November.
PABLO SARRAZIN
“I’m thrilled to take my first podium in the Rally2 class, an incredible achievement given the level of competition. It’s great to gain this experience as we look to prepare for the future. A massive thanks to the whole team and we’ll now give it everything to finish the campaign off strongly at the final round of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France.”
GEOFFREY COMBE CO-DRIVER
“It’s a great result for our first full rally on gravel in this class, especially after all the preparation that went into this weekend. Everyone in the team did a great job, and we’re already looking forward to the next event!”
PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER
“It was an excellent weekend with Pablo showing how well he can adapt to the step up to Rally2 machinery, which is very promising for next season. With Geoffrey they were battling with the lead group throughout the even, and picked up an impressive overall podium. It’s great preparation for the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France finale in a couple of weeks’ time, as we look to end a brilliant 2024 on a high.”

About KCMG
The KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) was launched by KCMG founder Paul Ip in 2021, and aims to develop young drivers who have the potential to race for the team in the future. KCMG manages, trains and invests in their drivers as they move up the motorsport ladder. Its members receive driver coaching, development and management services, along with financial support and physical training. Drivers will have a range of opportunities while progressing through the KCMG-DDP, given the multiple championships the team competes in and manufacturers it is partnered with.
