Hong Kong-based motorsport team, KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) announces its participation in the 59th edition of the Macau Grand Prix, which will be held from November 15 -18 at the famed Guia Circuit in the heart of Macau. The event features an across-the-board platform for different motorsport categories – from superbikes, touring cars to single-seaters – with the participation of hundreds of riders and drivers from across the globe.
This massive event which is hosted by the Macau Grand Prix Committee in cooperation with the Macau Government Tourist Office will be staged on the city’s challenging 6.2km street circuit and will feature various races to be held over the weekend. The event highlights the season finale of FIA-sanctioned World Touring Car Championship and the much celebrated Macau Formula Three Grand Prix.
The latter has been one of the most distinguished and much anticipated events in motorsport. F1 legends and drivers such as Riccardo Patrese, Aryton Senna, Michael Schumacher and David Coulthard are just some of the notable victors of the Asian race.
Once again, KCMG proudly takes part in this prestigious event and will be represented by 2012 All-Japan Formula Three champion, Ryo Hirakawa. The 18-year old Japanese driver, who drove for RSS Team in its 2012 campaign, consistently dominated the Japanese series. He won seven out of fifteen races while finishing second in three other rounds, which gained him enough points to lead and secure the championship title this season.
Moreover, KCMG is pleased to announce its recent collaboration with Canadian contemporary lifestyle fashion brand Puff Nation Apparels Inc. for the Macau Grand Prix. With its aim to deliver cutting edge products for its consumers across the world, the brand takes another revolutionary step by partnering with Asia’s leading motorsport services group to present a one of a kind campaign that aligns itself to one of the most prominent events in motor racing.
