KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) and Cebu Pacific Air, the Philippines’ largest airline, has agreed to extend its partnership for the 2014 season of Formula Masters China Series. The Hong Kong-based team returns to Asia’s top junior formula series under the “CEBU PACIFIC AIR by KCMG” banner.

After a successful collaboration in Formula Masters’ debut season last year, KCMG and Cebu Pacific Air intend to further strengthen its relationship by working closely together in driving synergistic campaigns through motorsport and air transportation. Cebu Pacific Air’s continued support has enabled the team to take part in various Asian championships since 2009, namely All – Japan Formula 3 and Formula Pilota China.

Last year, CEBU PACIFIC AIR by KCMG successfully concluded Formula Masters’ first edition in third place with Akash Nandy. The Malaysian ace went on to dominate in Formula Masters Macau Challenge at the legendary Guia Circuit with British teammate Dan Wells in November.

KCMG and Cebu Pacific Air’s renewed commitment in 2014 aims to surpass the impressive results that the team has delivered in the past season. Furthermore, one of the partnership’s major thrusts is to help promote Asian motorsport through Cebu Pacific Air’s wide network in the region.

KCMG will incorporate Cebu Pacific Air’s branding with the livery design of the three cars that it will field in the championship this season. CEBU PACIFIC AIR by KCMG drivers James Munro, Matthew Swanepoel and Dan Wells’ racing suits will also garnish the airline’s iconic logo. Moreover, the Cebu Pacific Air brand will be highlighted in all of KCMG’s marketing and promotional efforts throughout the season.

Formula Masters’ six-event calendar is comprised of 18 rounds, which will be held in countries Cebu Pacific Air flies to, namely China, Malaysia and South Korea. The events will be staged side by side with some of the most prestigious motorsport series’ such as the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia and Audi R8 LMS Cup.
