Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG has set its sights on victory as the team heads to China’s renowned F1 circuit for the second event of Formula Masters China Series. From May 23- 25, James Munro, Matthew Swanepoel and Dan Wells will face three thrilling races on Shanghai’s 4.602km track.
Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG previews Formula Masters’ second event as an opportunity to continue the team’s superb start to its 2014 campaign. Following a dominant outing in the Asian junior Formula series’ wet opening round in Zhuhai, the team is confident that Munro, Swanepoel and Wells will maintain the team’s winning ways in Shanghai this weekend.
James Munro leads the driver’s championship with 33 points while British teammate Dan Wells lies third in the classification standings ahead of Formula Masters second event in Shanghai.
James Munro, Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG Driver: “We will be looking to carry over our strong form from Zhuhai and fight for more wins and podiums this weekend. I’m really looking forward to the challenge that the Shanghai track will provide. It looks a lot different to any track I have ever raced on so it should be a very interesting experience.”

Dan Wells, Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG Driver: “It’s great to be back in the RIO sponsored KCMG car after the last round in Zhuhai, where we took a podium in the opening race. I’m confident that the team has corrected the reliability issues we encountered in the last round so I’m looking forward to challenging for wins this weekend.”
