KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) travels to Twin Ring Motegi for the second time this season as All-Japan Formula 3 Championship’s fifth event gets underway on August 23-24. After the team’s strong showing at Fuji Speedway in July, Shohei Yuzawa will take on Rounds 10-11 of the Japanese formula series on Motegi’s 4.801km road course.
The Japanese driver currently sits fifth in the National Class rankings and has so far secured four podium finishes this season. Yuzawa returns to Motegi this weekend with an aim to score his maiden JF3 win.
Shohei Yuzawa: “Conditions at Motegi will be totally different from the last time we were here and this will definitely be a new challenge for the team. But I’m confident that we’ll have a strong weekend and hopefully, we can take our first victory of the season here.”
Ryuji Doi, KCMG Japan General Manager: “The team has been working very hard to prepare the car for the upcoming rounds at Motegi. We’re looking forward to a good race and hopefully, a maiden victory this weekend.”
