KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) heads to Sportsland Sugo for All-Japan Formula 3 Championship’s penultimate event on September 27 – 28. The series’ sixth round is comprised of an 18 and 25-lap challenge on Sugo’s 3.737km course. After a month’s downtime from single-seater racing, Shohei Yuzawa is set to tackle this new challenge in the #19 Toyota-powered Dallara F308.
The Japanese driver, who currently sits fifth in the National Class rankings, is primed to round off the two races with success. After a tough outing at Motegi last month, the Hong Kong-based team is geared to get on the pace and to deliver strong results throughout the weekend.
Shohei Yuzawa: “Sugo has a unique layout and I’m looking forward to racing there this weekend. I’m excited to be back in the car after that month-long break and will do my best to finish strong in both races.”
Ryuji Doi, KCMG Japan General Manager: “As we get closer to the end of JF3’s 2014 season, the team is more focused on finishing every race at the front of the field. Sugo is a new test for Shohei, but I’m confident that he’ll be in top form and will be challenging for points this weekend.”
