After rounding off a successful 2014 season in Formula Masters China Series with KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG), British driver Dan Wells reunites with the Hong Kong-based squad for their maiden campaign in Asian Formula Renault this year. Wells, driving for BlackArts Racing by KCMG, and Garnett Paterson in the KCMG entry, will prove to be a strong line up in this year’s AFR championship.
Wells has been part of KCMG’s stable of drivers since 2012 and emerged as one of the top contenders in Formula Masters China Series (formerly known as Formula Pilota China). Last year, the British driver concluded the Asian formula championship in third place and helped KCMG claim the 2014 Team Trophy award after contributing numerous podiums and two race wins, bolstering the team’s dominance in the overall standings.
With the support from the newly-established team, BlackArts Racing, Dan is primed for this latest challenge and is looking forward to place one of the special black, red and white liveried FRD 2.0/13’s at the front of field throughout the season.
