Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG has confirmed that Nick Rowe will join the team in the upcoming season opener of Formula Masters China Series, which will take place this weekend at Sepang International Circuit. He will field the Hong Kong-based outfit’s fourth blue and white Volkswagen-powered Tatuus car, in what will be his maiden outing on Malaysia’s demanding F1 track.
Despite his young age, the 16-year-old driver will contribute a significant deal of motorsport experience to the team after competing in a number of championships across Australia and New Zealand. Notably, Rowe completed the 2014 Australian Formula Ford in the top four of the overall driver standings and emerged TaG Senior champion in the 2014 SKUSA SuperNationals.
