KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) travels to the scenic foothills of Mount Fuji as All-Japan Formula 3 Championship’s fourth event gets under way this weekend. Just as the highly lauded Japanese formula series enters its season’s mid-way mark, Jersey-born driver Struan Moore is poised to challenge for top results in his maiden outing on the legendary 4.56km circuit.

Moore considers Rounds 8 and 9 of the Japanese Formula series as an opportunity to challenge for his first JF3 podium. With his consistent display of competitive pace in the #19 Toyota-powered Dallara F312, the British driver is hopeful that victory will be imminent in the upcoming races at Fuji.

Struan Moore: “This weekend marks the halfway point of the season . So far each round has been a step forward in pace and consistency, which is exactly what we all wanted to see. For me now I want to build on what results we’ve achieved and really fine-tune the weekend to ensure I’m back where I’m most happy and that is at the front fighting for the podium. It’s going to be very tough and we can’t expect anything to be handed to us so now we must work hard together as a team and have a strong weekend.”

Ryuji Doi, KCMG Head of Motorsport: We’ve made significant progress since we’ve launched our JF3 campaign with Struan and he continues to work hard with the team to improve his performance round after round. We’re looking forward to race this weekend and deliver strong results as planned.”
