After winning both Rounds 7 and 8 of the Asian Formula Renault Series, BlackArts Racing by KC Motorgroup Ltd (KCMG) driver Dan Wells looks to continue his winning ways as the series goes back to the Zhuhai International Circuit as part of the yearly Pan Delta race. The young British driver mastered a tricky Shanghai International Circuit in the previous race weekend which was made dangerous by constant rain throughout the event, extending his winning streak to a total of 6 consecutive races.
Wells comes into Rounds 9 and 10 of the Asian Formula Renault Championship hoping to extend his lead of 210 points over fellow KCMG driver Garnet Patterson (188). KCMG looks forward to having a dominant race weekend in Zhuhai, a pivotal race which can help them seal both Driver and Team Championship this year.
Dan Wells: “I’m happy to welcome Novotel, Graham, Profound Knowledge Partners Asia and Sonia Samtani Ltd as partners for this coming Pan Delta race in Zhuhai. We have many guests and partners to host this weekend and the on track action is sure to thrill. I’m looking forward to getting back to racing after the summer break”.
Garnet Patterson: “After the big break between rounds, it is going to be great to be back racing for KCMG at Zhuhai this weekend. I’m very confident about the way I have prepared for the weekend and I can’t wait to get a good result for the good team”.
John O’Hara, KCMG Deputy Managing Director: “We come to Zhuhai with the aim to wrap up the weekend claiming the championship title. Both Dan and Garnet have displayed outstanding performances throughout the season and the team is looking forward to take on the series’ penultimate round at one of the circuits where we have triumphed earlier this season.”
