KCMG together with Nissan are geared up for an intense 10 hours of GT racing action and are set to fight for victory with two 2018 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3s as the famous Suzuka circuit hosts the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
The #018 GT-R will be shared by Super GT aces Katsumasa Chiyo and Tsugio Matsuda alongside regular Blancpain GT Series Asia pilot Alexandre Imperatori, while #23 entry will feature regular driver Edoardo Liberati alongside Brit Oliver Jarvis and KCMG’s former Nissan-powered Le Mans LMP2 winner, Richard Bradley.
Here’s some pre-event comments from our drivers:

Richard Bradley: “I’m looking forward to this race with KCMG – its obvious the team have great results in Blancpain Asia , which means we’ll be in a good position going to the event. Suzuka is a circuit that I know very well and having had good experiences here, I’m confident of a good result.”
Edoardo Liberati: “I’m proud to be here to take part in this event with such a competitive field. KCMG is ready and have been doing a great job this year with the NISMO GT3. NISMO has been with us every step of the way to develop the car. My teammates are both successful drivers so I’m confident that we can fight and deliver positive results for the team.”
Alex Imperatori: “I’m looking forward to one of the highlights of the season here with KCMG. The 10 Hours of Suzuka is shaping up to be an incredible event with very tough competition but I think we have good potential. The team has done a good job preparing the cars and we have a good chance, given a good crew and with great teammates in Matsuda and Chiyo san. I’m sure that we can combine our strengths to produce a great result and looking forward to be on top of the podium.”
Tsugio Matsuda: “The Suzuka 10 Hours is a very special event for me as it’s my first time to compete in this race and its to be held in my hometown Suzuka, so I am very much looking forward to it. With KCMG and Nissan’s support, I will do my very best so we can as winners on Sunday.”
Katsumasa Chiyo: “It’s been a while since I raced GT3 cars so I’m thrilled and very much looking forward to this event. I’d like to thank Paul Ip, Ryuji Doi and the entire KCMG team for this opportunity. The time I had to practice was limited, but with my experience in GT3 racing, hopefully I can contribute to the team’s success this weekend with Matsuda san and Alex.”
